Wie bereits im vergangenen Jahr angekündigt, hat die Gesellschaft für technische Kommunikation (tekom) ihre traditionelle Frühjahrstagung, die bislang an wechselnden Orten im deutschsprachigen Raum stattfand, durch eine internationale Online-Tagung in englischer Sprache ersetzt, die unter dem Namen „Information Energy“ (IE) läuft.
Die Frühjahrstagung war die kleinere der beiden jährlich organisierten Großveranstaltungen des Verbands. Zu ihr kamen stets mehrere Hundert Teilnehmer. Die sehr viel größere Jahrestagung im Herbst mit mehr als Tausend Teilnehmern bleibt von der Umstrukturierung unberührt. Sie findet nach wie vor in Präsenz in Stuttgart statt, in der Regel im November.
Mehr als 40 Vorträge, Gespräche, Workshops
Angeboten werden auf der IE 2025 mehr als 40 Vorträge, Präsentationen, Gesprächsrunden, Workshops und Meet-ups rund um das Thema technische Kommunikation, Übersetzung, Terminologie und Illustration (siehe Programm-PDF weiter unten).
Die Teilnahmegebühr für Mitglieder der tekom und von Verbänden, mit denen Partnerschaftsabkommen bestehen – dazu zählen fast alle Übersetzerverbände – beläuft sich auf 200 Euro für alle drei Tage insgesamt. Nicht-Verbandsmitglieder zahlen 350 Euro.
Alle Einzelveranstaltungen werden aufgezeichnet und können auch später noch abgerufen werden.
